DESIGNER'S COMMENTS
This 52' design is a well balanced mix of performance and cruising comfort in a classic medium displacement hull. One requested design feature is a full size hardtop dodger/bimini combination which has been nicely adapted to coordinate with the yacht's somewhat modern profile. A center cockpit layout provides for large living space and privacy below. The master stateroom aft has a large double berth and a private head, as well as ample storage space. Two additional double staterooms are located forward and share a forward stall shower and separate head. The main salon is large and open, with plenty of seating and table space. To port aft of the main salon is a practical U-shaped galley. On starboard is a walk-through passage to the owner's stateroom, forward facing nav station with a computer center, laundry and a large access door to the engine room, located right under the center cockpit sole.
This long waterline design has a powerful hull shape, which is matched by an equally powerful sail plan generating an exciting cruising performance. To achieve the highest stability with 6' draft, the keel was designed with winglets expanding over the full length of the tip chord. This lowers the vertical center of the ballast. Back to Sail
