DESIGNER COMMENTS

This owner came to DED for a 56' sailing yacht design. The lines above the water have the classical look of the 1950s, while the underbody represents a modern hull.

The construction material for the hull and deck is aluminum and was built by Kanter Yachts in Canada. The boat is in Duxbury, MA, where the interior and finish work is being completed. The carbon fiber spars are being built by Composite Solutions in Hingham, MA.

A fixed launching date has not yet been set.
